With the many challenges taking place and on the horizon that will impact behavioral healthcare providers and the individuals they serve, it is critical to maintain a positive outlook, and development and implement strategies to mitigate the likely effects of policy changes and funding reductions. NJAMHAA has developed its Fall Conference, Harvesting Hope: A Vision for Behavioral Health, with these situations and needs in mind. The event will be held on October 21, 2025 at the APA Hotel Woodbridge in Iselin, NJ.

The event will begin with a keynote presentation, Re-envisioning Health Care: Centering Behavioral Health, Whole Health, and Provider Well-being, by Tracy Gaudet, MD, Co-Founder of Cornerstone Collaboration for Societal Change and Executive Director, Doctorate in Whole Health Leadership, Southern California University of Health. Following workshops that will provide essential knowledge and tools to enhance the quality of services, build providers strategic planning skills and more will be a plenary session, Behavioral Health: Where We Are and Where We Are Going, with Jennifer Mathis, JD, Deputy Director, Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law; Valerie Mielke, MSW, Deputy Commissioner for Health Services, New Jersey Department of Human Services; and Diana Salvador, PsyD, Deputy Director and Clinical Director, Children’s System of Care, New Jersey Department of Children and Families.
