NJAMHAA is pleased to announce the keynote presentations for its Spring Conference, Evolving Behavioral Health: Advancing Together for 75 Years, which will be held April 14-15, 2026 at the APA Hotel Woodbridge in Iselin, NJ.

Day 1 Keynote: Swifties, Startups, and the Singularity: Reimagining the Future of Behavioral Health
Stephen K. Klasko, MD, MBA, Executive in Residence, General Catalyst and Board Chair, Teleflex, — along with NJAMHAA’s own thought leaders Deborah Visconi, President and CEO, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and Chair of the New Jersey Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees; Regina Widdows, President and CEO, SERV Behavioral Health System, Inc. and NJAMHAA Board Member; and Bob Gold, Founder and Chief Behavioral Technologist, GoMo Health® — will share practical strategies for preparing behavioral health organizations and professionals for the changes ahead.

Day 2 Keynote: Transforming Mental Health Care: The Collaborative Care Model in Action,
Theresa Miskimen Rivera, MD, DLFAPA, President of the American Psychiatric Association, will define the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), differentiate CoCM from traditional consultation approaches, and review key benefits while discussing the path forward. The CoCM is an integrated, team-based healthcare approach with a strong evidence base demonstrating its effectiveness in treating patients with co-morbid mental and physical conditions. This comprehensive framework represents a paradigm shift in psychiatric care by fostering interdisciplinary integration, improving access to behavioral health services, and focusing on measurable, patient-centered outcomes.
