All Healthcare Staff Need Information Technology Knowledge, Skills and Tools to Ensure Safety and Quality of Care

May 1, 2024 Conference Features Experts with Critical Advice and Resources

As information technology (IT) continues to evolve and risks to data security continue to increase, it is critical for all healthcare staff - clinical, administrative, executive and of course, IT, as well - to be knowledgeable about IT and related tools to maximize the quality of care and protect their organizations and the individuals they serve. Healthcare providers can gain this essential information at a conference, Beyond Boundaries, Exploring IT Opportunities, to be hosted by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies' IT Project on May 1, 2024 at the FEA Conference Center, Monroe Township, NJ.

"We are fortunate to have strong relationships with individuals who are experts not only in IT, but also in technologies and how to use them to maximize the effectiveness of services and ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations," state June Noto, NJAMHAA's Vice President of IT, Human Resources and Administrative Services. "We are grateful to the presenters and other conference supporters for enabling us to strengthen New Jersey's behavioral and general healthcare systems by providing this necessary information."

"We cannot emphasize enough the importance for individuals at all levels of staff - not just IT - to attend this conference, as the presenters will share critical advice about saving significant amounts of time and money, as well as enhancing the quality of care," added Ron Gordon, Director of the IT Project. "Clinical and IT staff need this knowledge so they can effectively collaborate to ensure data security and the most effective services. CEOs, CFOs and other leaders also need to be aware of these matters and resources to make the best investments for the benefit of their businesses, staff and individuals they serve."
