June Noto Announces Retirement Plans; NJAMHAA Seeks to Fill “Big Shoes” for Administrative Director

February 27, 2024

After serving at NJAMHAA for 22 years, initially as Information Technology (IT) Project Director and then Vice President of IT, Human Resources and Administrative Services, June Noto has announced plans to retire later this year.

"As we have huge shoes to fill, we are beginning our search for a new Administrative Director now," said Debra L. Wentz, PhD, President and CEO. "June has done an amazing job enabling NJAMHAA to stay on top of technology. She has been instrumental in working closely with me to transform NJAMHAA into a professional organization. A few highlights of her innumerable contributions include greatly expanding the IT Project and strengthening its value and image; leading our move to new headquarters; and developing professional human resources for our staff, as well as members through the HR Practice Group that she launched several years ago. We will miss her terribly, but are happy that she'll be able to travel more."

"I cannot adequately thank June enough for all she has done throughout her long-term commitment, which includes her willingness to stay to ensure a smooth transition to her successor," Dr. Wentz added.

"We are slightly restructuring this very detail-oriented, hands-on position. If any members are interested or know of other individuals who are highly motivated and want to make a difference in our high-profile, productive, mission-driven trade association, please click here to see the job description and contact me," Dr. Wentz stated. She can be reached at dwentz@njamhaa.org.
