NJ DOH and DHS Host Budget Listening Sessions, Nov. 13th, 14th and 29th

The New Jersey Department of Health (DOH) and the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) will host public budget listening sessions on November 13 and 14, and 29, 2023, respectively.

The DOH public budget listening sessions will be held virtually on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. ET, and Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET, and provide opportunities for stakeholders and the public to provide testimony for consideration in the DOH FY2025 budget.

Testimony can be provided in writing and/or verbally during this session. To provide verbal testimony or to observe the listening sessions, please click here to RSVP by November 10, 2023. DOH requests that those providing verbal testimony keep their remarks to five minutes. Written testimony, as well as any questions, can be submitted via email to budget-feedback-2025@doh.nj.gov.

Debra L. Wentz, PhD, President and CEO of NJAMHAA, will be providing testimony to DOH during the November 14th listening session.

The DHS budget listening session will be held virtually on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. ET. All are welcome to offer verbal or written testimony to inform the DHS budget for 2024-2025. Should sign-ups for the November 29th session exceed the time allotted, an additional session may be added on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
