As part of the IT Project contract with the NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), we are offering 24 FREE training workshops to assist contracted providers in the areas of electronic health records, Meaningful Use, Health Information Technology, Security, the changes in ICD-9 to ICD-10, etc.

These trainings are only FREE if you have a contract with the DMHAS; however for a low cost, these trainings can be made available to anyone who wishes to learn more about the topics offered.

Because these trainings are FREE, we ask that anyone who registers and then needs to cancel to please officially cancel their ticket issued by the registration system or contacting Ron Gordon, IT Project Associate Director. If you do not cancel and do not show up for the workshop  you will be subject to a "NO SHOW" fee.  We have also been asked to report all NO SHOWS to DMHAS contract administrators.

Medicaid Compliance and Documentation

The New Jersey Department of Human Services changed the service delivery to Fee for Service under the Medicaid Community Care Waiver. The goal of this course is to review the new billing rules in Medicaid, how it impacts agencies, and provide an understanding of compliance standards. At the end of the training, trainees are expected to identify, monitor ongoing requirements and develop a systematic method to comply. As a result, trainees are expected to learn how to make changes in their operation, billing, auditing, fraud prevention, and setting staff expectations in regards to Medicaid compliance.

Microsoft Office 365 Web Apps and Collaboration for Office 2013

C.E.U.’s are available for this training. 

Has your organization moved to Microsoft’s Cloud based Office 365? Are you or your staff using its’ many features, comfortable in the cloud environment or using collaboration? If your organization has moved to a mobile workforce and you are using Office 365 staff should be trained. You can use this workshop as a train the trainer opportunity. 

PROGRAM:
This course is an introduction to the Microsoft® Office 365™ for Office 2013 in a cloud-based environment. Using Office 365, users can easily communicate with each other through Microsoft® Outlook® mail. Additionally, the Microsoft® SharePoint® Team Site provides a central location for accessing and modifying shared documents. The Office Web Apps enable users to perform basic tasks, such as opening, editing, printing, and saving documents without requiring an installation of the full desktop version of Microsoft® Office 2013 on the local computer.
